Teenage girl pelted with cans by men yelling anti-gay slurs in Bronx park
A teenage girl was pelted with cans in a Bronx playground by a trio of men yelling anti-gay slurs, police said.
The trio confronted the 17-year-old victim in the Melrose Playground on Courtlandt Ave. and E. 153rd St. in Melrose about 9 p.m. Dec. 12, cops said.
She suffered a torn ligament in one knee after they threw cans at her and yelled homophobic epithets.
Cops released photos of the suspects late Wednesday and asked the public’s help tracking them down.
