A man watching a soccer game at Yankee Stadium was shot in the hand, apparently by a stray bullet fired by someone outside the stadium, police said Monday.

The fan, 25, was sitting in the bleachers when he was hit about 5:30 p.m. Sunday during the New York City Football Club’s 2-0 victory over Atlanta United.
The victim, who lives in Westchester County, was treated at Bellevue Hospital.
