Powerball numbers 9/20/23: $750 million now up for grabs on Saturday

The Powerball jackpot has climbed even higher after no one won big in Wednesday night’s drawing.

$750 million is now up for grabs in Saturday night’s drawing.

Here are Wednesday’s winning numbers: 27, 62, 16, 59, 63 and a Powerball of 23.

The Powerball jackpot has rolled over since the July 19 drawing when a ticket in California won a prize worth $1.08 billion, the third-largest Powerball jackpot ever won.

Since then, there have been 27 consecutive Powerball drawings without a jackpot winner.

The Wednesday drawing produced more than a million winning tickets across the country, including a ticket in Georgia that matched all five white balls to win a $1 million prize. Two other tickets, sold in Georgia and Texas, matched all five white balls and won $2 million prizes by including the prize multiplier feature, Power Play, for an additional $1 per play. Other big wins from Wednesday night include 25 tickets that won $50,000 prizes and eleven tickets that won $150,000 prizes.

The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.9. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.

Jackpot winners can either take the money as an immediate cash lump sum or in 30 annual payments over 29 years. Both advertised prize options do not include federal and jurisdictional taxes.

All winning tickets must be redeemed in the jurisdiction in which they are sold.
