Authorities in Brooklyn are currently looking for the individual responsible for fatally assaulting a man named John Sarquiz, aged 55.

Sarquiz was discovered unconscious with head injuries last Wednesday outside a building on 13 Avenue in Dyker Heights.

He was taken to NYU-Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he passed away on April 3.

The medical examiner will determine the exact cause of his death, and the investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
