2 NYPD officers hurt after their vehicle crashes into another car in the Bronx
An NYPD vehicle crashed into another car in the Bronx on Monday, leaving two officers and another person injured, according to police.
The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. on East 149th Street and Brook Avenue.
The officers were responding to a 911 call for NYPD officers needing assistance at a nearby location at the time of the incident.
Both officers, assigned to the 40th Precinct, were taken to Lincoln Hospital where they are expected to survive.
The driver inside of the other vehicle was taken to an nearby hospital in stable condition.
The incident is under investigation.
