Man dies in car-to-car shooting on Brooklyn parkway off ramp

Bullets fired from one car into another on a Brooklyn parkway off ramp killed a 26-year-old man, police said Friday.

A black SUV of unknown make and a blue Nissan Sentra were coming off the Highland Blvd. off ramp of the Jackie Robinson Parkway in East New York around 4:45 p.m. when someone in the black car opened fire on the Nissan, said cops and witnesses.

The Nissan crashed into a tree near Bushwick Ave. and the wounded man got out and ran off. “Maybe it was adrenaline,” said a witness who works for the MTA, which has a bus garage and subway yard nearby.

The wounded 26-year-old ran east on Bushwick Ave. and made it several hundred feet to the Atlantis Wash and Lube.

There he collapsed, and police and EMS workers soon arrived.

“They took him up and they put him on a stretcher,” said a Wash and Lube customer who didn’t give his name.

The man was struck multiple times in his upper body, and was later declared dead at Brookdale Hospital, said police.

A witness said a woman in the Nissan appeared to have survived unhurt.

The rear driver’s side window of the Nissan was partly shot out. Two bullet holes were visible in the metal on the driver’s side.

Police were looking for the black SUV from which they believe the bullets were fired on Friday night. Three men were in the car, which had Connecticut plates, said sources.
